About Me

My
Story
My path to becoming a counsellor began with a career in education, where I supported students and families through some of life's most meaningful and challenging moments. Those experiences taught me the importance of connection, compassion, and creating a space where people feel truly seen and understood.
For more than 15 years, I have worked with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and personal growth. I believe healing happens in the context of safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences and move toward meaningful change.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including :
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
-
Mindfulness and somatic-based approaches
-
Trauma-informed practice, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Beyond professional training, my own experiences with anxiety, body image challenges, and personal growth have shaped the counsellor I am today. These experiences deepened my empathy and strengthened my belief that healing and lasting change are possible at any stage of life.
Today, in my private practice, I work primarily with adults aged 18 and older. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for something to change, my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect. I know that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable. If you're considering counselling, I hope you'll find a space here where you can show up exactly as you are.
